About OurVoteLive.org
Our Vote Live is a custom site developed by the Electronic Frontier
Foundation ("EFF") that facilitates the documentation, sorting, and
organization of election-related problems and inquiries reported by
ordinary voters to the Election Protection Coalition via the toll free voter-assistance hotline 866-OUR-VOTE. Our Vote Live
uses a suite of custom-developed code — collectively called "Total
Election Awareness" (or "TEA") — that EFF developed to help ensure that
(1) the Election Protection Coalition could rapidly and efficiently
assist voters in real-time, and (2) that the general public could
monitor the health of the electoral system during the 2008 presidential
election.

To protect voters' privacy, this data is anonymized. If you are a journalist interested in contacting the voters listed on this site, please use the Press Contact listed below.
Open Source
In the interest of assisting with future election protection efforts worldwide, the source-code for Total Election Awareness is available for general use under the GNU General Public License v3.
